Com o objetivo de perceber se uma narrativa participativa poder\u00e1 contribuir para uma divulga\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9tica do arquivo colonial, estas fotografias, impressas e digitalizadas, voltaram ao seu local de origem em dezembro de 2021. O s\u00edmbolo fotogr\u00e1fico foi devolvido ao seu contexto original, num ato gratuito de apropria\u00e7\u00e3o pela terra do corpo fotografado, poss\u00edvel pela (re)apropria\u00e7\u00e3o da fotografia. Os retratos fazem parte da cole\u00e7\u00e3o fotogr\u00e1fica da Miss\u00e3o Antropol\u00f3gica e Etnogr\u00e1fica na Guin\u00e9-Bissau 1946-47, pertencente ao per\u00edodo colonial portugu\u00eas, chefiada por Am\u00edlcar Mateus, objeto de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o no \u00e2mbito da minha tese de Doutoramento, integrado no projeto \u201cO Impulso Fotogr\u00e1fico: Medindo as Col\u00f3nias e os Corpos Colonizados. O Arquivo Fotogr\u00e1fico e F\u00edlmico das Miss\u00f5es Portuguesas de Geografia e Antropologia.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of understanding whether a participatory narrative could contribute to an ethical dissemination of the colonial archive, these photographs, printed and digitized, returned to their place of origin in December 2021. The photographic symbol was returned to its original context, in a gratuitous act of appropriation by the land of the photographed body, made possible by the (re)appropriation of the photograph. The portraits are part of the photographic collection of the Anthropological and Ethnographic Mission in Guinea-Bissau 1946-47, belonging to the Portuguese colonial period, headed by Am\u00edlcar Mateus, the subject of research within the scope of my doctoral thesis, integrated into the project \u201cThe Photographic Impulse: Measuring the Colonies and the Colonized Bodies. The Photographic and Film Archive of the Portuguese Missions of Geography and Anthropology<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
